In reality, death is usually a fairly consistent force, it is predictable. In video games like this, in-game deaths often occur either intentionally or unintentionally, depending on who dies. Non-player characters like bosses in HTFA series often end up like this as they're required to be defeated by the player to continue their journey.
Much like the HTF show itself, deaths tend to be bloody (and occasionally gory), unless if the "dead" character is non-organic. However, starting from HTFA Maker onwards (though HTFA GB started it first), the deaths are toned down, lacking blood at all even on the tree friends themselves.
